Job Summary

Work with Department Chair to get trained in SMART board technology and integration into mathematics curriculum.

Job Description

1. Learn to operate Hitachi smart boards (Starboards)
2. Integrate delivery of instruction, pedagogy, and curricular content into SMART board technologies
3. Present findings

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in mathematics

Preferred Qualifications

High level of experience in teaching developmental math and college algebra in the urban student environment
Advanced courses in modern algebra or research experience in teaching algebra

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills and demonstrated ability to interact with students
  • Proven ability to work independently, assume responsibility, exercise good judgment and communicate effectively.
